Linda Hale hired as new Head of School

We are excited to announce that the Board of Trustees' Search Committee has hired Linda Hale as Noble Academy's new Head of School. Linda has been on our Board for five years and has been Board Chair for the last three. She has over 20 years of experience in education including extensive experience in special education. Community Forum: Tax Credits for Children with Disabilities

Noble Academy will be hosting several discussion forums, led by Head of School Laura Blackburn, for anyone in the community who is interested in learning more about House Bill 344: Tax Credits for Children with Disabilities. If your child is currently in public school or attended public school during the 2010-11 school year, we encourage you to bring a copy of their IEP to the forum.

JV Soccer Cancelled today (9/27)

Today's soccer game has been cancelled. There will be NO practice. The game will possibly be rescheduled for Thursday.

Cross Country Meet Cancelled today (9/6)

The cross country meet has been cancelled today. The team will practice indoors at the YMCA.

Varsity Soccer will also practice indoors at the Y and volleyball will practice as scheduled.

Noble Academy Fall 2011 Apparel Sale

The Fall Apparel Sale has begun! We are bringing back a few favorite designs and we are proud to feature a limited edition design created by our very own Dean Zigler! His design will only be offered this fall and only in adult sizes.
A few points to remember:

    * The order window for screenprinted items ends Friday, September 9. Embroidered items are always available
    * This is the only apparel sale we will run until the spring. Stock up now for birthday and holiday presents!
    * All orders will receive FREE SHIPPING to Noble Academy
    * The webstore contains size charts for each product. Most products tend to be sized how you'd expect, but we did have a few reports of items running small, so if you are in doubt, order the next size up. We are offering some "ladies" shirts this year, which will of course run smaller than a unisex size.

Turn onto Piermont (the street right next to our new building)
Go all the way to the end of the street
Turn right into the Y parking lot (above the soccer fields)

PFA Picnic Changed

Meet Your Teachers

We hope to see students and their families on Monday, August 22 to pick up their schedules and walk around to meet all of their teachers. Drop in any time between 5:00 and 6:30. If you are new to Noble Academy this year, please plan to join us from 4:30 - 5:00 for New Student/Family Orientation.

Tax Credit - update

The governor did not sign HB 344, which means that it automatically becomes law. Click here for the NC General Assembly website, which lists the entire history of the bill. We are excited that this law will make Noble Academy financially accessible to many more students who need our educational environment.

We have received some information through Rep. Stam (Wake County), who was a primary sponsor of the bill. This information may answer some of your questions about the law. Click here to download.
