Students diagnosed with ADHD are just as capable of being highly successful students if they are taught in the right environment with learning activities that fit their strengths. ADHD encompasses both attention deficits and hyperactivity, but students can exhibit one of these or both. There are many things that can be done in a class or academic program to help maximize the strengths of ADHD students and minimize their weaknesses.
